Only 1 Indian Company In World's 100 Most Valuable Brands List; Amazon Beats Apple To Claim #1 Spot

According to the Brand Finance’s rankings for 2023, total of four Indian companies–TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech and Wipro–have been featured in the list of world’s top 10 most valuable IT service brands.

Brand Finance’s rankings for 2023:

With a 10 percent increase, Accenture must maintain its position as the most valuable IT services brand for the fifth consecutive year, increasing its brand valuation to US$39.9 billion. A Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 87.8 out of 100 and a corresponding AAA brand rating have placed the company as the strongest brand in the IT services industry.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) of India is in second position with a 2 percent increase in brand value, bringing its valuation to US $17.2 billion. For clients transitioning to hybrid working this year, TCS provided several customized transformation programs.

With a valuation of $13.0 billion, an increase of 2%, Infosys also ranked among the top three most valuable IT services brands globally. Narayana Murthy founded the business in 1981, and Brand Finance highlighted the AAA brand strength rating of the organization.

HCL Tech and Wipro have been ranked eighth and ninth, respectively, in the list.

Another Indian brand that made it to the top 25 is LTIMindtree — brand value up by 75 per cent to US$1.9 billion. After a successful merger between L&T Infotech and Mindtree in 2022, LTIMindtree has become the fastest-growing IT services brand globally.

Fastest growing brand – Tech Mahindra:

According to the report, Tech Mahindra, owned by billionaire Anand Mahindra, is one of the fastest-growing brands in the world with a brand value of US$3.5 billion, up by 15%. This year, the company moved up four spots in the rankings, from fifteenth to eleventh, the biggest rise of any brand.

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, is ranked second globally and first among Indians in the Global 500 2023 report, which was also released by Brand Finance.
