Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has confirmed that a new handset shall be launched in India alongside the flagship OnePlus 12 on January 23.
Notably, ahead of the launch, it was revealed that the phone shall be available on Amazon in two colours: blue and black.
Though the launch date of the phone is reiterated on the ecommerce giant Amazon, any other details are not to be seen on the site.
Expected Specifications:
Expected to be a rebranded version of OnePlus Ace 3, OnePlus 12R is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC based on a 4nm process. On the graphics side, it shall also be paired with an Adreno 740 GPU.
Speaking of the display, with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the phone has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display.
With a peak brightness of 1600 nits, the phone can come with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protected screen.
Coming to the optics, the phone could have a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the flipside, there can be 16 MP camera on the front.
With a support for 100W SuperVOOC type-C fast charging, the phone could feature a 5500mAh battery.
It shall be available up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage storage variants.
Pricing:
Positioned to lock horns with the likes of Nothing Phone (2), Samsung S23 FE etc. this phone could be be priced around the ₹40,000 market in the Indian market.
