In a unique move blending modern public transport with personal celebrations, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has opened its Namo Bharat trains for private events. Passengers can now book static or running coaches to host birthdays, pre-wedding shoots, small gatherings and other milestone celebrations—offering a futuristic new venue option along the Delhi–Meerut corridor.

NaMo Bharat Trains Can Be Now Booked Parties At Rs 5000/Hour

This marks the first time a regional rapid rail service in India has introduced event bookings within its modern, world-class train environment.

A Modern Coach as Your Event Venue

According to NCRTC, individuals, event planners and media companies can book a static mock-up coach located at the Duhai Depot, or request a running coach depending on availability.

The static mock-up is designed to replicate the full aesthetics of a real Namo Bharat train—sleek interiors, modern lighting, and a clean, premium ambience—making it ideal for:

  • Birthday celebrations
  • Pre-wedding and couple shoots
  • Small private ceremonies
  • Photography and videography projects
  • Social media content creation

Pricing and Booking Details

Booking for the mock-up coach will start at ₹5,000 per hour, which includes:

  • 30 minutes for decoration setup
  • 30 minutes for wrap-up and removal

This structure ensures organisers have sufficient time to personalise the space without impacting operations.

NCRTC has also created a detailed premises hiring policy for film shoots, advertisements, documentaries and other media projects, allowing Namo Bharat trains and stations to be used as premium shooting locations at competitive rates.

Strict Timings to Avoid Passenger Disruption

Events will be permitted between 6 am and 11 pm only.
NCRTC clarified that all celebrations will be conducted in a manner that does not interfere with regular train services, ensuring daily commuters are not inconvenienced.

Decorations will be allowed but must comply with guidelines on safety, cleanliness and non-damaging materials. All activities will remain under the supervision of NCRTC staff and security teams.

A New Attraction Across the Delhi–Meerut Corridor

With stations located in key hubs like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad and Meerut South, the initiative is expected to attract families, influencers, photographers and local residents looking for a unique and contemporary celebration space.

By opening its advanced Namo Bharat ecosystem to the public in this new way, NCRTC has added a creative dimension to India’s rapidly modernising transportation landscape.
