It is commonly rumored that the Motorola Razr 50 series will debut on the global market in June. The gadget has been observed on Chinese regulatory websites such as TENAA and 3C Certification.
It is predicted that the corporation will release two models in the series: an Ultra variation and a standard model.
Motorola Razr 50 To be Launched in June
It is anticipated that both Motorola Razr 50 variants will be available in the Indian market. In India, the Motorola Razr 40 series was revealed in July 2023. There’s a likelihood that India will release the new models at roughly the same time.
The Ultra variant appears to be launching soon, as it has already achieved BIS certification.
The cost of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra was Rs 89,999 whereas, the cost of the Motorola Razr 40 was Rs 59,999.
The pricing of the new Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra will be determined by the features they provide.
It’s possible that Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset powers the Ultra variant. Similar in performance to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.
Poco F6 First Device in India To Use 8s Gen 3
The Poco F6, which uses the same processor, is the first device in India to use the 8s Gen 3. It is reported that the 6.9-inch inner OLED display with 1080p resolution will remain in the Ultra model.
Like other high-end phones, it should support refresh rates of up to 120 Hz.
Instead of the 3.6-inch panel shown on the previous iteration, the cover panel might gain a larger 4-inch panel.
According to reports, Motorola intends to equip the Ultra model with a larger 4,000mAh battery cell. Compared to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra’s 3,800mAh battery, this would be an improvement.
If the specifications are as reported, the price of almost Rs 90,000 would be highly costly. In terms of performance, the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC may be used to explain the high cost.
