Motorola has announced the launch of its latest affordable Moto G series devices, the Moto G04 and Moto G24, in the European market. Sporting competitive specs and features for their price point, the two new models aim to strengthen Motorola’s footing in the budget smartphone segment.
Both phones are equipped with large 6.6-inch IPS LCD displays with 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. They run a clean build of Android 14 OS out of the box. The Moto G04 and G24 pack in sizable 5,000mAh batteries as well to deliver over a day’s usage per charge.
Moto G04: Basic Performer for Essentials
The more affordable Moto G04 packs an entry-level Unisoc T606 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. Imaging is covered by a single 16MP main camera sensor on the rear. It features a 5MP selfie camera as well within a punch-hole cutout on the front.
Priced starting at €119, the Moto G04 will appeal to consumers looking for a basic device focused on essentials. It will be offered across four color variants.
Moto G24: Better Camera and Overall Experience
Stepping up over the G04, the Moto G24 sports a faster MediaTek Helio G85 processor alongside 4GB/128GB memory configuration. It flaunts a more capable 50MP main rear camera accompanied by a 2MP macro lens for closeup shots. The selfie camera gets an upgrade to 8MP resolution.
Starting at €129, the Moto G24 brings excellent value as a well-rounded budget smartphone with better multitasking competence and camera performance over the G04 model. Customers can choose from four stylish color options.
Both G series devices run pure Android software with Motorola’s custom MyUX layer on top. They include side fingerprint sensors, headphone jacks, splash resistance, and clean Android 14 experience right out of the box as well.
