Motorola is gearing up to paint the smartphone sky with its next flagship star, the Edge 70 Ultra.

After the global launch of Edge 70, Motorola is all set to unveil its next flagship powerhouse, the Edge 70 Ultra. Fresh leaks have surfaced, offering a sneak peek at its design, specs, and early performance figures, hinting that the Lenovo-owned brand is gearing up to make a bold statement in the premium smartphone arena.

Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Design & Specifications (Leaked)

Leaked images reveal the Edge 70 Ultra in olive and blue, featuring a textured back panel. Moving away from the soft eco-leather of the Edge 50 Ultra, it adopts a tougher, performance-focused design seen in recent flagships. The triple-lens camera sits in the top-left corner, arranged vertically, likely combining a main sensor, an ultra-wide shooter, and a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom.

Though the front designs are not leaked yet, the speculations are rise that point to a familiar flagship layout. Users can likely expect a centred hole-punch camera, slim bezels and a large flat OLED display somewhere around 6.7 to 6.8 inches, complete with a high refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Edge 70 Ultra is believed to be powered by to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. While not the top-tier 8 Elite Gen 5, it still promises flagship-level performance. According to performance numbers from the leak, the phone has scored 2,636 in single-core and 7,475 in multi-core tests on Geekbench, paired with 16GB RAM. The handset is said to come with Android 16 out of the box, running Motorola’s Hello UX interface.

Although there is no official confirmation when it comes to the launch as well as pricing, but the speculations are hinting towards a launch in February and the expected price in India of around Rs 60,000, positioning it slightly higher than last year’s Edge 50 Ultra, which debuted at Rs 49,999. However, given the rising prices across the flagship segment, a bump in pricing wouldn’t be surprising.

All we can say is, with the Edge 70 Ultra on the horizon, Motorola looks ready to light up the flagship sky once again.
