Mahindra has officially commenced deliveries of its highly anticipated XEV 9e, a fully electric SUV, in India. Priced from Rs. 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV is being delivered in a phased manner, with the first unit finished in the striking Tango Red shade.

The demand for the XEV 9e has been phenomenal. Pre-bookings for the SUV, along with its counterpart BE6, opened on 14 February and saw a combined total of 30,000 bookings in just a few hours. Among these, the XEV 9e accounted for 56% of the orders, with the 79kWh variant (Pack Three) dominating with a 73% share.
