Mahindra continues to strengthen its SUV lineup with the launch of Bold Editions for the Bolero and Bolero Neo, two of its most enduring and rugged 7-seaters. With a loyal customer base and proven reliability, the updated versions bring enhanced design, upgraded interiors, and a value-driven proposition that will appeal to both rural and urban buyers.

What’s New in the Bold Editions?

The Bold Editions focus on cosmetic upgrades and added comfort features across all variants. Here’s what’s new:

Bolero Bold Edition:

  • Dark chrome finish on the front grille, above headlights, fog lamp surrounds, and rear fenders.
  • Refreshed interior with dual-tone black and beige seat upholstery.
  • New steering wheel finish, door sill plates, and floor mats.
  • Price (on-road, Mumbai): ₹11.97 – ₹13.31 lakh.

Bolero Neo Bold Edition:

  • Similar dark chrome enhancements on headlights, door handles, bumper elements, and fog lamps.
  • Blacked-out roof rails and door cladding for a rugged aesthetic.
  • Interior upgrades: black seat upholstery, neck cushions, rear-view camera, and premium mats.
  • Available in N10 and N10 (O) variants.
  • Price (on-road, Mumbai): ₹14.22 – ₹15.03 lakh.

Powertrain and Performance

Despite the styling updates, both SUVs retain their proven 1.5-litre 3-cylinder diesel engines:

  • Bolero:
    • 75 bhp, 210 Nm torque
    • 5-speed manual transmission
  • Bolero Neo:
    • 98.5 bhp, 260 Nm torque
    • 5-speed manual transmission

These engines are known for their durability, fuel efficiency, and ease of maintenance—making them ideal for Indian roads and long-term use.

Accessible Yet Feature-Packed

The addition of dealer-level accessories worth ₹40,000 further enhances the value of these models, offering a more premium feel without a significant price hike. With these new updates, Mahindra is reinforcing its commitment to evolving legacy models while keeping them relevant for today’s SUV market.

These Bold Editions signal Mahindra’s strategy to not only roll out new-age electric SUVs like the BE6 and XEV9E but also keep its popular diesel portfolio refreshed and desirable.
