With the rapid evolution of technology reshaping industries globally, IT hiring in India is projected to grow by 10-12% over the next six months, according to a report by Quess Corp. Emerging technologies like Generative AI, Deep Tech, and Quantum Computing are expected to create over a million jobs by 2030, fueling demand for skilled tech professionals.

is creating significant opportunities for specialized talent, especially in roles like AI/ML, Analytics, and Cybersecurity.

    • 79% of aggregate demand comes from five core skill suites: Development, ERP, Testing, Networking, and Data Science.
    • Specialized skills like Java (+30%), Cybersecurity (+20%), and DevOps (+25%) are witnessing rapid demand growth.
  • Industry-Wise Breakdown:
    • IT Services: 37% of total demand.
    • Hi-Tech and Consulting: Each contribute 11%.
    • Manufacturing: 9%.
    • BFSI: 8%.
  • Geographic Focus:
    • Bengaluru leads with 62% of hiring requests.
    • Hyderabad and Pune follow with 43.5% and 10%, respectively.
