Regular iPhone 16 devices may be manufactured in greater quantities than higher-end ones, according to display analyst Ross Young’s report. Manufacturing of iPhones normally starts in July; but, last year, August saw the start of manufacturing on the iPhone 15 series.
Although the iPhone 12, 13, 14, and 15 are made in India, it is unknown if the iPhone 16 series will also be produced there. For Indian consumers, manufacturing in India has not resulted in appreciable price drops.It’s possible that Apple will raise the cost of the standard iPhone 16 and Plus versions.
The price of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max jumped by approximately Rs 5,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively, last year.
In India, the cost of the iPhone 15 Pro is Rs 1,34,900, while the Pro Max is priced at Rs 1,59,900. The basic model of the iPhone 15 costs Rs 79,900, while the Plus model costs Rs 89,900.
In 2022, the price of the iPhone 14 Pro was Rs 1,29,900, while the price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max was Rs 1,39,900.
Price of iPhone 15 Same As iPhone 14 Plus
The price of the iPhone 15 models is the same as that of the iPhone 14 Plus and regular versions. Given the already high cost of the iPhone 16 Pro models, Apple is unlikely to raise them considerably. Due to increasing production costs, the iPhone 16 series may cost more than its predecessors.
Apple had to spend $558 more to create the iPhone 15 Pro Max than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, a 12% increase. Production expenses are increasing due to rising component costs, particularly for camera components.
Apple might have to increase retail prices in order to preserve profit margins if production costs keep rising. Both the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Pro Max may have starting prices of more than $799 (approximately Rs 66,560 and $1,199, respectively) and more, respectively.
The cost of an iPhone is substantially more in India than it is in the US. When the new devices are released later this year or closer to the iPhone 16 launch event, further information regarding pricing will be available.
