Apple’s iPhones Take Top 7 Spots in Global Top Ten List

This accomplishment bolsters Apple’s leading position in the smartphone industry. The top seven positions in the sales chart have never been occupied by a single brand before. The remaining ten places in the top ten were taken by Samsung, demonstrating the competitive market.

The 2023 sales chart was topped by the iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 saw notable sales in the US and China, despite sharing many features with the previous model.

Following its release, the iPhone 15 series shot to the top of the sales charts. In 2023, there was a shift in the smartphone market toward higher-end models.

As per the report, “Apple’s iPhone 14 was the best-selling smartphone of 2023, with the US and China making up half of its sales. Further, the model contributed 19% of the total iPhone sales for 2023, down from the 2022 bestseller iPhone 13’s 28% share.”

Apple’s Popularity Increased Due To Its Presence In Middle East And India

The report also states that Apple increased its presence in developing nations like the Middle East and India. Additionally, the report says that for the first time, over 10 million iPhones were sold in India.

Samsung’s A-series models, which highlight value offerings, were included in the top ten. In India, the Galaxy A14 5G emerged as the top-selling smartphone.

On the eighth place stands Samsung’s Galaxy A14 5G, followed by Samsung Galaxy A04e and A14 4G.

Thanks to strong sales in both the US and India, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G came in eighth place. In India, it was the smartphone with the highest sales in 2023.

The remaining two spots were occupied by LTE-capable smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy A04e and A14 4G, whose low prices drove sales in developing nations.
