Google has revealed as many as six new features for Google Maps in India.

Thanks to ONDC and Namma Yatri, passengers in Kochi and Chennai may now directly purchase metro tickets via Google Maps.
Maps and Search now include information on over 8,000 EV charging stations. This provides the option to filter based on charger type and real-time availability.
Additionally, Google Maps now shows EV charging sites for two-wheelers in India, a first for the country.
Lists of Suggested Locations To Be Facilitated by Google
Ten major cities and popular tourist destinations will have lists of suggested locations curated by Google in partnership with local experts.
Enhancements to user-generated content facilitate local contributors’ reporting of traffic accidents and information sharing.
The functionalities will be supported by Apple CarPlay, iOS, Android Auto, and Android.
