Samsung Galaxy AI Across 100 Million Devices

Prior to this, Samsung confirmed that Galaxy AI will come to older models in H1 2024.

In the latest update, the President and Head of MX business, Samsung Electronics, TM Roh, noted that this year, the firm is committed to bringing Galaxy AI to about 100 million Galaxy mobile devices worldwide.

Further, Roh said that “despite the costs involved in developing Galaxy AI, the features will remain free to use until 2025. However, the brand is yet to decide what happens later.”

Adding, “According to our analysis, there are various needs for mobile AI. So, there will be consumers who will be satisfied with using the AI capabilities for free. Then there could also be customers who wish for even more powerful AI capabilities, and even pay for them. So, in the future decision making, we will take all these factors into consideration.”

In addition to this, the smartphone maker also intends to produce laptops in India to cater to the domestic market, Roh said.
