- What inspired you to start ESS Global, and what was the vision behind the creation of this study-abroad platform?
Overseas education is not a new idea among the Indians. Maybe two decades back we used to refer to Vilayat for education. The United Kingdom was the only country that used to come into people’s heads when anyone thought of overseas education. That notion has now changed as a lot of countries has emerged as the study-abroad destination. India is the most populous country and the average age group going abroad is 18 years. This is where ESS Global comes into play as students started to look for options with a vision to have the best of educational opportunities. There was a demand and ESS Global started as a platform helping students. The logo of the company states the five ticks which has different meaning to it. ESS Global started and expensed with a vision of educating people with overseas education.
- Could you explain the key features and services offered by ESS Global to students and educational institutions?
Ess Global offers 360-degree counselling sessions to students starting from course selection, University selection, visa application process, post that accommodation services, and also helps them with websites to apply for part-time jobs so that they can sustain themselves in the foreign land. They also provide educational institutions market intelligence Every educational institution wants to promote itself in different ways. They help educational institutions in such a manner that they are on the top list of the student’s list when they are looking out for colleges/universities.
- What are some of the challenges you’ve faced while building and scaling ESS Global, and how did you overcome them?
The industry is continuously evolving and moving as there are new students passing out every year. The basic of counseling remains the same and becomes repetitive but every year it is a new face. Guiding every student is extremely important. It is an ongoing process of educating the parents and the children on overseas education.A little bit of process may vary otherwise it’s the same. The challenge can be it is a repetitive thing. The exciting thing is that we have the ability to counsel the parents and the children to make the right choice.
- How does ESS Global differentiate itself from other study-abroad platforms in the market?
We differentiate from other consulting firms by our one-liner – Find A New Life. I believe that anyone coming to us comes with a hope for making a great life with the best of opportunities. That is the responsibility factor in our jobs. This has to be done with the utmost seriousness and I believe that ESS Global is acting by not treating everyone as just a simple case and changing their lives for the best.
- Are there any upcoming features or initiatives that you can share with us?
We have started catering to students who are 18 years old and want to go abroad for higher education and we have a separate venture for permanent residency for skilled workers, skilled trade persons, or people looking for straight away for permanent residency in a foreign land. Ess Global’s motto is to keep on moving and our initiative is to inspire people by the YouTube channel or by expanding our digital presence.
