[Exclusive Interview] This 100% Made In India Manufacturing Firm Has Deployed 3000+ Elevators/Escalators Across India

Here are the interview highlights:

  1. What advanced technologies has your company invested in for elevator manufacturing, and how do these technologies enhance the reliability of your elevator solutions?

Our company takes advantage of advanced technology to make our elevators more reliable. We use a program called Solidworks 3D with a Simulation Module to design our elevators, which helps ensure they’re well-made. We also have CNC Laser machines and CNC Press Brakes that let us create elevator parts with great precision and quality. These tools are essential in making sure our elevators are dependable and long-lasting, providing safe and efficient transportation for our customers.
  1. How does your company ensure elevators meet or exceed industry safety standards, and can you share a safety feature or practice that illustrates your commitment to elevator safety?

Our company prioritizes elevator safety by adhering to Indian (BIS), European (EN), and Lift Acts standards, bolstered by CE and Lift Instituut Netherlands certifications. Our elevators feature key safety elements, including an Automatic Rescue Device, Overload Sensor, Over Speed Governor, Overshoot and Undershoot Protection, emergency GSM calling (Always Connected), and Remote Monitoring System. We provide 24/7 service to further ensure safety. These practices underscore our dedication to elevator safety, guaranteeing that our elevators consistently meet or surpass industry safety standards.
  1. Can you tell me about your supply chain approach and how it benefits developers and clients. Are there specific strategies that have improved supply chain efficiency?

In our supply chain, we use algorithms in our ERP system to source materials while keeping minimum stock levels in check. These levels depend on how much material we use and how long it takes to get them. We regularly upgrade our manufacturing capacity to meet the rising demand. This approach guarantees that we deliver our products on time, which is crucial for developers. It benefits clients by ensuring they get what they need when they need it, without delays.
  1. How are you taking advantage of growth opportunities in real estate? Could you share a recent project that demonstrates your strategy?

To seize growth opportunities in real estate, we’re focusing on comprehensive service support. In Chandigarh, we’ve opened a branch with both sales and service capabilities, where our elevators are being installed in TDI Projects and other developments. Our expansion continues with plans to open branches in Dehradun and Jaipur in the coming months. This strategy allows us to actively engage in large real estate projects, providing the support developers and clients need, and fostering our presence in this growing market.
  1.  How do you handle challenges like economic changes, evolving regulations, and changing preferences in elevator manufacturing? Can you share strategies or initiatives that have worked well in overcoming these challenges?

At Hybon, we embrace change as a constant. We respond swiftly to economic shifts, evolving regulations, and changing preferences in elevator manufacturing. Having in-house design and manufacturing capabilities allows us to act quickly and effectively in addressing these challenges, ensuring that our products and services remain aligned with the evolving landscape.
