Recently, the Indian automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has revealed the fuel efficiency figures of the upcoming Fronx which are also claimed to be the best-in-class.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Mileage Figures
Earlier, during January, Maruti Suzuki had unveiled the Fronx coupe SUV at Auto Expo 2023.
At that time, the brand shared several details about the car but its fuel efficiency figures were not announced.
Recently, at the Fronx media drive, the carmaker officially revealed the SUV coupe’s fuel economy figures.
With all the powertrain options, the Fronx mileage is over 20kmpl.
This compact SUV from Maruti has two engine options including 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet Petrol (100.06PS/147.6Nm) and 1.2-litre Dual-Jet Dual-VVT Petrol (89.73PS/113Nm).
Here, the 1.0-litre engine has 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT options, while the 1.2-litre engine has 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT options.

- Fronx 1.0 MT – 21.5kmpl
- Fronx 1.0 AT – 20.01kmpl
- Fronx 1.2 MT – 21.79kmpl
- Fronx 1.2 AMT – 22.89kmpl
Besides this, Maruti claims that the Fronx has the best-in-class turning radius of 4.9 meters.
Further, the Fronx is 3,995mm long, 1,765mm wide and 1,550mm tall with a 2,520mm long wheelbase.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Ground Clearance And Boot Space
Notably, its ground clearance is not very high and is quite decent at 190mm.
Same is with the boot space which is not very generous, being merely 308 litres.
This compact SUV is based on 16-inch alloy wheels.
When it comes to pricing, this compact SUV from Maruti Suzuki Fronx is to be priced in the range of Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Launch Date
It appears that the Fronx will go on sale in the coming weeks and will be positioned as a premium compact SUV.
Similar to the Baleno, it will be retailed via the Nexa outlets.
After launch it is to take on high-riding hatchbacks and compact SUVs like the Citroen C3, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite , Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
Considering the nearing launch, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is expected to be launched in the second week of April.
