Nowadays, instagram seems to be filled with images of Hummer EVs sightings! And why not? Its big body and bold muscular look has caught everyone’s attention.
While that being said, Dilip Chhabria’s automotive designing brand which is also known as the DC2 showcased a radical electric SUV concept called the e-TANQ during the auto expo event.
But here the question is if this model with a robust build will be able to rival the Hummer?
DC2 e-TanQ Preparing To Challenge Hummer
It appears that DC2 had shared teasers showcasing more sportier Humvee, before the expo.
During this event, the brand showcased the TANQ with a massive 180 kWh battery pack.
As we know that the Hummer EV currently gets the biggest battery packs with a 200+ kWh capacity.
In case of the e-TANQ, it gets a dual motor layout – one on each axle which can produce a combined output of 650 bhp.
So we can expect the model to offer an insane acceleration and an outstanding top speed with such power.
DC2 e-TanQ Design & Looks
When it comes to its design, the e-TANQ gets a black and red dual tone colour shade.
Its front view gets a butch design with a blocked off grille and sleek LED headlamps.
While that being said, the TANQ gets big and wide tyres and its key designing elements on the model include, sleek & connected tail lamps, good-looking roofline, bold rear diffuser and a two door design.
Similar to the exteriors, its interiors as well get modified with new premium and luxury features.
The vendor had earlier gone into trouble as the company was found to have committed financial fraud.
Considering the fact now the car maker is trying to bag some investments to regain its lost reputation.
As we know that the DC Avanti is no more now, but the brand now appears to be betting hard with its e-TANQ and Mercury models in the country.
The company’s financial fraud cases are still currently on-going, but the brand is looking to keep going with its modifications in the country.
Let’s see if e-TANQ could possibly help to regain the popularity for DC2 in India in the coming times.
