Citroen has scheduled the India launch of its all-new electric vehicle in the first quarter of 2023.
While this might be a vague timeline, the official bookings for the car will also begin by January 2023, i.e., this month itself.
Citroen Expected To Launch Fully Electric Vehicle By March 2023
The launch is anticipated to happen by the middle of March 2023, and display and test drive vehicles will begin to arrive at dealer showrooms in February 2023.
Citroen is also introducing fast charging stations powered by Jio-BP pulse as part of this launch. This will be offered at significant Citroen dealerships across the nation. The project represents a significant step in the direction of the business’s objectives to lessen its carbon footprint and promote environmentally friendly transportation.
Battery And Performance
It is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack, which has a 320 km range that has been certified by ARAI.
The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) electric battery used in the Citroen C3 has undergone temperature testing between -10 and 55 degrees Celsius. The battery pack is compliant with nail penetration and includes an under-chassis protection cover.
Fast DC charging is possible; it takes 57 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. You can use a 15 AMP plug point at home to charge devices; it will take 10.5 hours to go from 10% to 100%.
Citroen Electric eC3’s Maximum power output is 57 PS, and its maximum torque is 143 Nm. It comes with two drive modes: Eco and Standard and a fully automatic drive system along with regenerative braking.
In terms of performance, the Citroen C3 electric can accelerate from 0 to 60 kilometers per hour in 6.8 seconds. Its maximum speed is 107 kmph. Both private owners and fleet operators will be able to purchase Citroen C3 electric vehicles.
