Citroën India, a subsidiary of Stellantis, has officially launched the all-new C3 Aircross in the Indian market. The company has unveiled the initial pricing for the base model of this compact SUV, which starts at Rs 9.99 lakh. This pricing positions the new Citroën C3 Aircross as the most competitively priced mid-size SUV in India, giving it a notable edge over well-known rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and others.

Competitive Pricing: Citroën C3 Aircross Offers Significant Savings Over Rivals

When comparing its price with the leading vehicles in its category, the Citroën C3 Aircross, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), comes in significantly lower than the Hyundai Creta by Rs 88,000 and the Kia Seltos by Rs 91,000. The base models of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos are priced at Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh, respectively.

Furthermore, the C3 Aircross offers a more budget-friendly option compared to Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara and Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Hyryder, with a price difference of Rs 70,000 and Rs 86,000, respectively. The base models of these two mid-size SUVs are approximately priced at Rs 10.70 lakh and Rs 10.86 lakh, respectively.

Citroën C3 Aircross: A Budget-Friendly Choice Compared to Competitors

In addition to competing with these popular compact SUVs, the C3 Aircross also presents competitive pricing compared to the MG Astor, which is sold at Rs 10.82 lakh for its base variant. Prior to the introduction of the new C3 Aircross, the Astor held the title of the second most affordable base variant among mid-size SUVs.

The Citroën C3 Aircross also delivers cost savings when compared to the base variants of Skoda’s Kushaq and Volkswagen’s Taigun, which are priced at Rs 11.59 lakh and Rs 11.62 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The C3 Aircross offers a more budget-friendly option than both of these Czech and German SUVs, with a difference of Rs 1.6 lakh and Rs 1.63 lakh, respectively.

Currently, Citroën has only disclosed the pricing for the base variant of the new C3 Aircross SUV, with expectations that prices for mid-range and high-end variants will be unveiled soon. Additionally, the company has initiated the booking process for this new SUV, allowing customers to reserve their vehicles at any nearby Citroën dealership or through the official website by making a deposit of Rs 25,000.
