Bajaj Auto’s MD Rajiv Bajaj announced that the world’s first CNG bike shall be launched in the next quarter.

In an interview, he said that “Bajaj CNG motorcycle could do what Hero Honda did and that is to halve the cost of the fuel”.
He also added that there is reduction of 50-60% in the fuel costs as well as operating costs. Not just that, but when compared to the ICE counterparts, CNG model has lower emission levels as well. There has been a reduction of 50% in CO2 in the CNG prototype, reduction of 75% & 90% in Carbon monoxide and non-methane hydrocarbon emissions.
As per earlier reports, the CNG bike from Bajaj can be priced between Rs 40,000 and Rs 60,000. But more details are awaited.

Additionally, the company said that early in financial year 2025, it is all set to launch the “biggest Pulsar ever and the firm said that it is “firing all cylinders” and focussing on super segmentation for brands like Pulsar instead of premiumisation.
Bajaj said that it is the 125cc Plus segment, that continues to be the focus of Bajaj and the same is evident from company’s product launches almost every fortnight.
