Apple introduced the new iPad Pro in May 2024, and it has since been reported to be the smallest iPad ever—even thinner than the iPad Air.

According to Mark Gurman’s article, a Bloomberg story indicates that Apple intends to implement the “thin is in” philosophy on almost all of its devices.

Apple To Introduce Slimmer Devices in the Future

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is developing a new line of gadgets that will likely be the lightest and smallest in their respective tech sector categories.

A report by The Information, which highlighted Apple’s aspirations for a slimmer product selection, has also reported on earlier rumors about thinner Apple products.

Rumors of an “iPhone 17 Slim” version have surfaced, demonstrating Apple’s ongoing commitment on producing smartphones that are smaller.

The Bloomberg research suggests that by 2025, a very thin iPhone may be released.

iPhone “Slim” Expected To Cost More Than iPhone Pro Max

The iPhone ‘Slim’ is expected to cost more than the iPhone Pro Max, despite having a screen that is expected to be larger than the Pro (6.1 inches) but smaller than the Pro Max (6.7 inches).

It is said that this year will see the release of none of the slim smartphones.

It has been reported by Bloomberg that Apple is working on making the MacBook and Apple Watch smaller.

Anticipated to release in September 2024, the iPhone 16 series is probably going to stick with its present dimensions and forgo the smaller design.

In a similar vein, a smaller Apple Watch model is not anticipated till 2024.

Apple To Launch New Foldable Smartphone by 2026

We recently reported that Apple intends to join the foldable smartphone industry.

Additionally, Apple is expected to release a new 7.9-inch foldable iPhone by 2026.

Analyst insights have shown that this new gadget will stand out from the other folding models now available on the market with its “wrap-around” design.

Foldable smartphones from companies like OnePlus, Oppo, Samsung, and Vivo are already available in the market.

The foldable iPhone, which will be the first of its type for Apple, has not yet been unveiled.
