In a shocking turn of events, and online ordered parcel has claimed the lives of two in Vedgaon, Sabarkantha district, 

As confirmed by reports, an online parcel detonated, killing a father and daughter and injuring two more family members.

The explosion happened at the Vanjara home in Veda village, close to the Ramdevpir temple.

Online Ordered Parcel Blasts, Kills Father and Daughter 

The family placed an internet order for electrical goods and sent it to Vanjara Jitendrabhai. There was a loud burst as the electrical products exploded upon opening the packaging.

Jeetubhai Vanjara perished in the blast instantaneously.

After suffering severe injuries, his daughter Bhumika Vanjara passed away while receiving medical attention.

Not far away, two additional family members sustained injuries as well.After being brought to CHC at first, the injured were then sent to Himmatnagar Civil Hospital. A deputy superintendent of police from Idar arrived at the location to conduct an investigation together with other policemen.

What Caused The Explosion?

The reason of the explosion is being thoroughly investigated by the authorities. The event took place in the Sabarkantha district’s Wadali tehsil. The parcel containing the ordered electrical goods was opened, causing the explosion.

The Vanjara residence sustained substantial damage as a result of the bomb. The terrible event startled the neighborhood and sparked worries about the security of internet buying. Witnesses claimed to have heard a tremendous explosion coming from the Vanjara home.

In the meantime, the incident is being investigated further and is being considered an unintentional explosion. To collect evidence from the scene, the authorities are working alongside forensic specialists in concert.

In addition to expressing compassion for the impacted family, locals demanded increased online safety precautions.

The unfortunate incident serves as a warning of the risks that could arise from making purchases online and the need for prudence.
