Looks, processor
Appearance-wise the 12T looks near-identical to the Redmi K50 Ultra, which is expected to release as Xiaomi 12T Pro with a 200MP main camera.
It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC.
Despite the high-end chipset, the phone is limited to recording videos in 4K 30fps.
It’s unknown whether the company will add support for 4K 60fps recording via a software update in the future.
Charger included
The device boots MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
It has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging.
The charger is included in the retail box.
Screen
The screen is 6.67-inch with a centered punch-hole OLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels (1.5K).
Going by the screen resolution and size, it could be the same panel used by Redmi K50 Ultra.
Camera
The device gets a triple camera system at the back.
This includes a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor.
For selfies and video calls, it uses a 20MP shooter.
Variants, pricing, launch
The handset will be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The person who bought the 256 GB variant said that it cost approximately US$616 after currency conversion.
Rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 12T will cost between €600 and €620 (~Rs 47,550) and ~Rs 49,150), whereas the Pro model will be priced between €800 and €820 (~Rs 63,400 and ~Rs 65,000).
While the 12T duo is expected to launch in the global market this month, there is no concrete information on its India launch time frame.
