Swiggy Records Jump Of 16 Times In Order Number

This is evident as Swiggy has revealed a huge jump of 16 times in order numbers between June 2021 and June 2022.
In such a short period of time, the food aggregator company received a massive response in terms of orders.
Which Cities Ordered The Most?
According to reports, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad have placed far more orders in the last year than Canada’s entire population. Among these Indian cities, Bengaluru has the highest number of deliveries, particularly in the early morning.
Delhi and Chennai also placed massive orders. In non-metro cities, most orders were placed in Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad.
Which Items Were Ordered The Most?
Swiggy Instamart recorded a spike in orders for certain items. Orders for sanitary napkins, napkins, and menstrual cups were highest in metro Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
These distress items were ordered in nearly 2 million pieces. Swiggy Instamart has also delivered over 50 million eggs and over 30 million milk orders in the last two years. In the previous year, Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai each laid 6 million eggs on average. Additionally, in the last two years, the company received nearly 62,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables.
