India’s Best Selling 7-Seater MPV Maruti Ertiga & XL6 Gets Exciting Facelifts! Check Top Features, USPs & More

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is all set to be launched with a facelift later this month, and it has already been teased by the automobile manufacturer. 

The Ertiga by Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), has been India’s best selling MPV!

MSIL Teases Ertiga Facelift; Promises Improved Fuel Efficiency

The Ertiga facelift will be powered by the new 1.5 liters K15C dual jet petrol motor; whereas, the current models are powered by the K15B 1.5-liter petrol motor. It will produce 10 ps more power than the existing model which produces 105 ps of the existing 1.5-liter petrol motor.

The K15C engine, internationally, comes as a part of a hybrid setup, along with an electric motor that produces 33 hp. However, in India, this motor will have the standard mild-hybrid system that is already available here. It comes with an auto start/stop and integrated starter generator as well.

Reportedly, it will have improved fuel efficiency. The car will have transmission options of a 5-speed manual along with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic. 

XL6 To Be Launched In Indian Automobile Market

Additionally, the XL6 is also set to be launched in India soon. XL6 is based on the Ertiga with slight cosmetic changes and the main difference being the six-seater configuration. Mechanically, both of these cars are exactly the same.

Features Of Maruti Ertiga, XL6

The Ertiga and XL6 will have an updated front grille and reprofiled front and rear bumper, while the XL6 will have larger alloy wheels. 

Features of the car include a wooden finish on the dash, chrome accents, flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel, a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360° surround view camera and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

As per reports, the Ertiga will be launched on 15th April, and the XL6 can be expected on 21st April.
