Maruti Wagon’s New Variant Launched At Rs 5.39 Lakh: Check Top Features, USPs

Price, Options

Along with the Tour versions of the Dzire and the Ertiga, this Wagon R is sold via Maruti Suzuki Arena as well as its commercial dealerships.

It is named the WagonR Tour H3 and offered in two variants – petrol and CNG.

Customers can choose between two colour options – Superior White and Silky Silver.

The Tour H3 petrol is priced at Rs 5.39 lakh, the CNG version costs Rs 6.34 lakh.

Petrol Powertrain

It runs on a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, K10C petrol engine producing 64bhp of power at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 89Nm at 3,500rpm.

It also gets Maruti’s DualJet technology with idle start-stop system thanks to which it delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.4km/l. 

CNG Powertrain

The CNG version gets the same powertrain along with a factory fitted CNG kit but lacks the DualJet technology.

This version produces 56bhp of power at 5,300rpm and a peak torque of 82Nm at 3,400rpm.

A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels will come as standard.

The CNG model is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 34.73km/kg.

External, Interior Features

The hatchback gets body coloured bumpers, wheel centre cap & blacked-out ORVMs, outside door handles and grille.

Coming to the dual tone interior, it features front cabin lamps, driver side sunvisor with ticket holder and front & rear headrest.

Also on board are front power windows with side auto down function, manual AC, rear parcel tray, reclining & front sliding seats.

Safety

Safety features include:

  • ABS with EBD
  • Speed limiting function
  • Rear parking sensors 
  • Central door locking

Alternative For Private Buyers

Although this version of the WagonR is not meant for the public, private buyers can buy the updated Wagon R for the 2022 model year

It gets a more efficient 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol units, additional features, minor cosmetic tweaks, and a rejig of variants.
