Asus 8Z has finally been launched in India. ASUS 8z price in India is set at Rs 42,999 for the lone variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The latest Asus phone will be available via Flipkart online and select offline stores. Asus 8Z in India comes in Black and Silver color options. ASUS 8Z sale date has been confirmed, to start on March 7.
The launch has been delayed for long, and the Taiwanese company slowly have shifted their focus from the Indian smartphone market.
Asus 8Z is basically a rebranded ZenFone 8 for the Indian market. It features a 5.9-inch Full-HD+ E4 AMOLED panel offering 120Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and 112% DCI-P3 color gamut support along with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Asus 8z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G, the flagship chii from last year couped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to optics, it has a rectangular module with two cameras, a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with 112-degree FOV and 4cm macro support. The primary sensor supports OIS and PDAF and a 12MP punch-hole selfie camera at the top left corner. Asus 8Z is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.
