The Meta-owned messaging app, WhatsApp, has has millions of Android, iOS and desktop users worldwide and in order to make the chat more interactive, keeps on adding new features for its vast variety of users.
As per the reports, some new features that will be soon available to Android, iOS and desktop users.
A New Search Message Shortcut
WABetaInfo, WhatsApp feature tracker, spotted a new search message shortcut on WhatsApp beta version 2.22.6.3. Users will be able to make searches straight from the info page of personal contacts and group chats using this new search message shortcut.
This search shortcut shall be added shortcut to the redesigned contact info page. For some users, it shall be also available on group info as well, said WABetaInfo.
Since currently it is a beta version, the report said that the search shortcut has been rolled out to some WhatsApp account and hence may not always appear.
A New Message Reaction Feature
Apart from this, the app will add a new message response feature to desktop users designed for group chats. With this feature, users can see who is responding to incoming and outgoing group messages.
The new interface will include responses, so you can see a list of all the people who have responded to the message using the same response. A new feature is currently being developed in WhatsApp beta for iOS and Android.
Previously, the app removed the user voice call connection showing a rectangular rectangular background showing the contact name, number, and profile picture, and call length above.
