Realme Sold Rs 16 Crore Of Smartphones Every Hour In Last 9 Days!

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Realme has now announced that it has registered sales of Rs. 3500 crore during the festive season sale that recently took place.

This is no doubt a huge number for the budding smartphone company, which was launched only 3 years back.

Realme Clocks Sales Of Rs. 3500 Crores During Festive Season Sales

A festive season sale was up and running across multiple online ecommerce platforms which led to Realme clocking sales of Rs. 3500 crores during the same.

Recently, we reported to you about the company confirming the news that the Realme UI 3.0 will be announced shortly.

Realme UI 3.0 update will enhance multiple functionalities including improved privacy, customizability, revamped UI and much more. 

Realme said the current UI 2.0 has over 100 million users worldwide, and the company expects to reach out to the most number of Realme users possible with the new Realme UI 3.0 OS. The new UI will have inputs from Oppo’s ColorOS 12, Realme’s sister brand and previous mother brand. Recently Oppo’s ColorOS merged with OnePlus’ OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. 

Even when Realme introduced Realme UI, it basically ran on ColorOS, previously Realme phones ran on ColorOS by Oppo.

As per leaked reports, Realme UI is said to come with a major UI overhaul and a new design with improved privacy and security features. Realme UI 3 may feature a similar interface as ColorOS 12, as leaked in closed beta from Realme UI 3.0 available in China. The icons on Realme UI 3.0 will have redesigned quick settings toggles, new floating windows and additional tweaks.

Realme Sold More Than 1.7 lakh Units of Realme GT Master Edition 5G Smartphones

The company has revealed that there has been a 1,200 per cent jump in the Rs 20,000-30,000 smartphone segment this year as compared to the festive season sale in 2020.

Realme has also emerged at the top of the list of smartphone brands on e-commerce platform Flipkart, during the Big Billion Days sale.

Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, Europe, and Latin America, has said, “We are overwhelmed with the response from customers during the realme festive days. We are glad to witness a remarkable growth figure from the standpoint of both sale figures (products sold) and values (value of sales).”

Realme has claimed to have sold more than 1.7 lakh units of Realme GT Master Edition 5G smartphones across all channels.
