Top Trending Smartphones: iPhone 14 Max, Pixel 6 Pro, Asus 8Z, JioPhone Next, OnePlus 9RT, Pixel 6

Checkout the top trending phones this week. OnePlus 9RT launch date is said to be around October, and will probably come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Leaked OnePlus 9RT price is expected to start at CNY 2999 for the base 8GB RAM model with 128GB storage, which means the OnePlus 9RT price in India may start at somewhere around Rs 35,000. The Cupertino-based tech giant will probably be coming with an affordable iPhone for the iPhone 14 series.

The new model will boast a 6.7-inch display, to be called iPhone 14 Max.

YouTuber M. Brandon Lee leaked Pixel 6 European pricing. Google Pixel 6 will start at €649 (around Rs 56,250) and the top-end model, Google Pixel 6 Pro line will cost around €899 (approx Rs 77,919). Pixel 6 series will be unveiled on October 19.

Pixel 6

All set to launch in October, Pixel 6 will come with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout. The display will offer 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the in-house Google chipset, said to be on par with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Pixel 6 will run on Android 12 OS out of the box and will be backed by a 4,614mAh battery. The phone will have two variants: 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB and 256GB internal storage. 

In terms of optics, Pixel 6 will have a dual-camera featuring a 50MP primary wide-angle sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Upfront, the device will have a 8MP snapper. The upcoming Google phones are said to come with 33W fast charging technology with the power bricks inside the box.

Pixel 6 Pro

Coming to the Pro model, the top-end Pixel 6 Pro will have a triple camera setup on the back, an upgrade over Pixel 6. The device will come with a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto camera. The device is said to feature a 12MP camera upfront. The device is also said to have additional optical zoom with some extra camera features. Pixel 6 Pro wilo sport a 6.71-inch Quad HD+ OLED display with curved edges and 120Hz refresh rate.

Pixel 6 Pro will come with upto to 12GB RAM and three storage variants: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options. The phone is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology support. As Pixel 6, the Pixel 6 Pro will run on Android 12 out of the box.

Google Pixel Fold

The Pixel Fold is said to happen by the end of the year. Google’s foldable smartphone has already been tipped on a number of occasions, multiple key speculations are till now. The newly leaked information suggests Google Pixel Fold will release in Q4, 2021. With more companies jumping into the folding smartphone category, Google will be the latest to enter the foldable smartphones zone.

Leaked by David Naranjo, Senior Director at Display Supply Chain Consultants, Naranjo shared a list of devices which are said to use LTPO OLED panels from SDC, mentioning Google Pixel Fold.

OnePlus 9RT

OnePlus 9RT launch date has again been tipped, said to launch in October only. OnePlus 9RT specifications have been leaked ahead of launch alongside price. OnePlus 9T has been officially cancelled by the company. OnePlus first released a T series phone in 2016, and upgraded to releasing two phones in a year. While there won’t be any OnePlus 9T, OnePlus indirectly hinted at OnePlus 9RT launch stating “will be other releases.”

OnePlus introduced a third model under the numbered series, OnePlus 9R and we will see a follow-up of it in November, OnePlus 9RT. The launch date is said to be around October, and will probably come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

iPhone 14 Max

iPhone 14 series will include a new model, iPhone 14 Max and launch in September 2022 and is said to come with no notches, and instead an in-display fingerprint sensor, a first time for any iPhone model since the company moved to FaceID for unlocking. The company is said to introduce a new model at the lowest price ever with a 6.7-inch screen in the iPhone 14 series and all the phones 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming iPhone 14 lineup will include the regular iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max apart from a new model which won’t be an iPhone 14 mini.

JioPhone Next

JioPhone Next launch is expected by the end of October or early November. The company postponed JioPhone Next launch till Diwali, so it could take place in the first week of November. JioPhone Next will come with an HD+ display running on the Android 11 Go edition. The upcoming Jio phone will be powered by the Qualcomm 215 Mobile Platinum processor with 3GB of RAM.

JioPhone Next will have a 13MP OmniVision rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

Asus 8Z

Launched in May, Asus Zenfone 8 will be available globally as the Asus 8Z, expected to launch in the Indian market in October. A few days back Asus officially confirmed that it will bring in a little tweaked model to the county, to be called the Asus 8Z. Asus 8Z will have a 5.9-inch compact display offering Full-HD+ resolution, dual-camera system with a 64MP primary lens and a 12MP secondary sensor.

Under the hood, Asus 8Z will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
