The all-new Ola Electric Scooter has finally been launched. The ride hailing company opened up bookings previously for its own branded electric bike in India, the Ola Electric. Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro offer a range of 181 kilometres, at ex-showroom prices of Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,21,999 for Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro respectively. There are two variants offering a top speed of 115 km/h. Ola scooter comes with a 750W portable charger and its 2.9kWh battery can be fully charged in six hours.
Ola Electric Scooter is an arm of the cab aggregator, and the company has claimed that it has received more than one lakh bookings for the upcoming electric scooter in India.
The company also plans to launch eBikes aka electric bikes in India soon. Not only Ola, several other auto brands are planning to launch electric bikes in India in coming days. Some companies already offer electric options with scooters and bikes.
