Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) said on Thursday some corporate employees will be offered the option to return to the office for three days a week and work remotely for the other two days.

Employees in frontline roles such as hardware engineers will continue to work onsite, Amazon said. Amazon will also allow employees to work up to four weeks per year completely remotely from a domestic location.
Employees Can Work Remotely Even After The Pandemic
Not only Amazon, Apple Inc (AAPL.O) and Google (GOOGL.O) also have made similar announcements of moving to a hybrid work week this year.
Facebook Inc. said it will allow all workers to work remotely even after the epidemic, though it may lower their pay if they relocate to a less expensive place. If their duties can be done without an office, employees can work remotely.
According to a statement released by the Menlo Park, California-based firm on Wednesday, starting June 15, any Facebook employee can request to work from home.
Facebook is also increasing the number of employees who are permitted to relocate to other countries. According to the company, starting later this month, any employee will be able to relocate from the United States to Canada or from Europe, the Middle East, or Africa to anywhere in the United Kingdom.
By January 2022, Facebook employees will be able to work in seven more countries in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa permanently.
