Maruti’s New Swift 2021 Launched At Rs 5.7 Lakh; Promises 23.7 kmpl Mileage, More Power

Maruti Suzuki launches its Swift 2021 model, equipped with more powerful engines and newer technologies.

With sales of the auto industry showing a gradual and good spike in the country, Maruti Suzuki has launched its all-new Swift model for 2021.

With a revamped and an allegedly more powerful efficient engine, facelift and newer technology, the new Swift 2021 has been launched.

Let’s get into the details of the car.

Newer Techno Additions

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2021 comes with the start-stop technology, which means the system automatically shuts down and restarts the internal combustion engine to reduce the amount of time the engine spends idling, thereby reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

A study by the Society of Automotive Engineers found that using a start-stop system can improve the car’s fuel economy by over 8% in heavy traffic.

It also comes equipped with a new multi-information display. Additionally, cruise control has been introduced in this new Swift facelift by Maruti Suzuki.

On the interior, the new Swift comes with a twin-pod meter cluster and a new 10.67 cm multi-information colored TFT display giving a vibrant visual appeal.

It also offers key synchronized auto foldable ORVMs, which enhance the whole driving experience.

“The 17.78 cm Smartplay Studio infotainment system combines smartphone, vehicle, and cloud-based services to offer a delightful experience”, states Livemint.

23.76 km/L Mileage Offered

The automaker claims to have equipped this new model with a more powerful engine.

The new Swift model comes equipped with the next generation of K-Series Dual Jet Dual VVT engine, with the dle Start Stop (ISS) technology.

Maruti also claims that the Dual Jet technology (2 injectors per cylinder), coupled with Dual VVT (variable valve timing for both Intake and Exhaust valves) and cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system result in higher fuel efficiency with lower emissions.

As per the automaker, the car gives a fuel efficiency of 23.20 km/l in MT and 23.76 km/l in AGS variants.
