For its potential bankers, the largest state-owned lender, the State Bank of India (SBI) has started its recruitment process as part of the festival bonanza.

SBI PO Post Recruitment Drive
As per the plan,SBI will be hiring personnel for the post of Probationary Officer (PO).
The application process will be starting from Diwali on November 14 and the last date for application is by December 4.
The bank will be conducting the online preliminary exams for four days at various centres which will be starting from December 31.
So, the last day of the exam falls on January 5. With this recruitment drive, they will be filling 2000 positions.
Out of these, 200 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to EWS or Economic Weaker Section of the society.
The whole selection process will be divided into three rounds – the prelims, mains and final interview round.
In addition to that, the aspirants can also opt for pre-exam training.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this role, the candidates should have a minimum qualification of graduation.
The final semester of bachelor’s degree programme students can also apply for this exam.
Although, they will have to produce proof of their examination on or before December 31.
In other words, the candidates whose results or exams are pending due to pandemic can apply.
Age Limit
For the applicable age limit, the candidates should be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 as on April 04, 2020.
Please note here that the age relaxation is there for reserved category candidates.
Number Of Attempts
For the general category, the maximum number of chances is four.
In case of EWS and OBC category candidates, they have 7 chances and there’s no restriction for SC/ST candidates.
Salary For PO Post
with four advance increments, the starting basic pay for SBI Probationary Officers is Rs 27,620, according to the notice.
Apart from that, the candidates are also eligible for various benefits such as DA, CCA, HRD.
Also note that the selected candidates will have to serve a bond of two years with the bank.
Exam Pattern For PO Post
The applicants will be accessed on English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability for the prelims.
Further, the online exam will run for one hour for a total of 100 marks and the sectional cut-offs have been removed.
