Airtel Offers Free Access To YouTube Premium For Three Long Months

Airtel’s new promotional offer will give free access to YouTube Premium to its customers for three months. As we all know, the YouTube Premium is usually priced at Rs. 129 per month and offers features like ad-free, offline, and background playback alongside access to YouTube Music.

As per reports, the new offer is now live through the Airtel Thanks app and will be available for select customers of Airtel. Also, the customers who are not using YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music will also be able to access the YouTube Premium service.

This offer by Airtel is live for customers is live in India until April 22, 2021. Apparently, it was launched quietly a few days ago but the trial was announced widely.

Offer Valid Only For New Customers Of YouTube Premium Service

The airtel site states that the trial promotion is available only for new users of YouTube Premium users. If you already have a subscription of the YouTube Premium service, you will not be able to access this offer. Existing customers of YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, and Google Play Music will also not be able to enjoy this offer.

While clarifying the terms and conditions of the trial promotion, Airtel said, “If you have previously trialed or subscribed to YouTube Music Premium or Google Play Music or if you are currently a subscriber of YouTube Music Premium or Google Play Music, this offer will only enable trial service of YouTube Premium’s non-music features.”

Once the trial period of three months is over, customers will be charged the subscription charges of YouTube Premium automatically. Customers will also have the option to cancel the trial at no charge at any point of time before it ends. 

Airtel has also created an online form through which customers can get a trial code to enjoy the access to YouTube Premium access. As per Airtel, the codes could require up to six months to be sent. Also, a google account will be required for signing up on YouTube premium.
