Once again, Reliance Jio has decided to make their loyal users happy, and copy with the lockdown restrictions amidst coronavirus outbreak.
Some selected users are getting free 2GB per day for 5 days, which means 10GB of absolutely free 4G data on their account.
Free 10GB Gift From Jio For All Loyal Users
Reliance Jio is providing free 10GB of data, divided into 5 days for some selected users.
This was first reported by users on a popular telecom forum, wherein the screenshots of the SMS was shared.
Here is one screenshot of such a message, confirming the free 10GB of data:
This free offer of 10GB data, which is divided into 5 days, (2GB data for 5 days), is over and above the existing plans and data for the users.
Hence, if a user has already 1.5GB per day plan, and if he gets this free gift from Jio, then the total data pack available for that user will be 3.5GB per day, for 5 days.
Note here that the data cannot be rolled over to the next plan, or beyond 5 days. The user must consume these 2GB per day, or 10GB within the 5 days.
How To Check Eligibility?
As per available reports, there are no eligibility criteria for receiving this free 10GB data from Jio.
Some random users are selected by Jio, based on their usage history, usage pattern and overall user-value, and then allocated the free gift.
Most of the users who received this free gift of 10GB from Jio got the confirmation via SMS.
Besides, you can always checkout the MyJio app, and click on My Plans to find out if you have received the free gift or not.
Jio has launched such a similar free gift of 10GB data last month as well.
