iPhone 12 prices are out, and surprisingly iPhone 12 will cost cheaper than the recent OnePlus 8 and also the predecessor, iPhone 11. iPhone 12 series will start at $649 (around Rs 49,220), which is lesser than the $699 iPhone 11 price tag.
The previous iPhone 12 design leak showed us a smaller display notch.
Since iPhone X, Apple has continued with the infamous wide notch on all its smartphones till iPhone 11 series. Though with the upcoming iPhone 12 series, things may change. The new leak hints at a big change in terms of design for iPhone 12 series.
iPhone 12 Price Leak: To Get Cheaper Than OnePlus 8?
Leaked Apple 12 prices by My Drivers (via GizChina) gave us the first expected iPhone 12 prices. The iPhone 12 series will start at $649 (around Rs 49,220). OnePlus 8 comes at a similar price in the Western markets.
In the US, the OnePlus 8 price starts at $699 (around Rs 53,090).
Even the last iPhone 11 series came at a starting price of $699 (around Rs 53,090 approximately).
So, iPhone 12 is going to be cheaper than both current OnePlus 8 and even the predecessor, iPhone 11. Further, the report claims the iPhone 12 with 6.1-inch OLED screen model and LiDAR sensors will be priced at $999 (around Rs 95,750).
The top iPhone 12 model from the iPhone 12 series with a 6.7-inch OLED display, triple rear cameras and LiDAR sensors cost $1099 (around Rs 83,330).
iPhone 12 Design Leak: What’s Getting Better?
iPhone 12 series could be getting a new look on the out. Since iPhone X, Apple has continued with the infamous wide notch on all its smartphones till iPhone 11 series. With iPhone 12, the notch may get smaller and shorter. iPhone 12 series may get a complete design makeover this year.
Tipster Jon Prosser leaked the new short notch with more thin bezels. The Face ID will stay as existing iPhone models, but the notch will be a lot smaller.
As per the leak, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have the notch of the same size, but other iPhone 12 models will have a shorter notch on top. iPhone 12 Pro Max has been tipped to have a LiDAR sensor with a designed speaker grille and sides.
iPhone 12 Pro Max may come with a 6.7-inch OLED display. So, the shorter notch is expected on iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. Apple will also be adding 5G to the iPhone 12 series this year. So, in nutshell, the iPhone 12 series will see some major improvements externally.
