Nokia unveiled four new smartphones at its recent event: Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 5310. The company’s latest launches include smartphones for different categories, starting from 5G devices to feature phones.

Like every year, Nokia this year brought back one of their best selling old phones. It’s the much popular Nokia 5310 Xpressmusic which has been given a new look in the form of a feature phone with the same-old side keys for music.

Nokia 8.3 5G

Nokia 8.3 5G supports both standalone and non-standalone 5G combinations running on the still-new Snapdragon 765G. The device sports a 6.8-inch display featuring a PureView quad camera setup on the back powered by Zeiss optics.

Nokia 8.3 packs in a combination of a 64MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide angle, 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, Nokia 8.3 houses a 24MP camera inside the punchhole.

The whole system is backed by a 4,500mAh battery and Nokia 8.3 5G utilises Qualcomm’s 5G RF Front end module solution. The device will be available in Polar Night colour starting at 599 euros for the 6GB/64GB model (around Rs 47,950).

Nokia 5.3

Coming to the second new Nokia smartphone, the Nokia 5.3 comes with a 6.55-inch display running on Snapdragon 665 under the hood. Nokia 5.3 also packs in a four camera system on the back featuring a 13MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide angle shooter, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. 

Upfront Nokia 8.3 houses a 8MP camera housed in a notch. The device comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button, backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

Nokia 5.3 runs Android 10 out-of-the-box with guaranteed two years of Android updates. Nokia 5.3 will be available in three colour combinations: Cyan, Sand and Charcoal. Nokia 5.3 price starts at 189 euros (around Rs 15,100) for the 4GB/64GB model.

Nokia 1.3

The Nokia 1.3 is a new budget offering from HMD Global, and it comes. Nokia 1.3 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with basic specs on-board. The budget Nokia phone packs a single 8MP camera at the back with a 5MP on the front.

Supporting Android Go features, the device has different streamed down features as Camera Go and low-light image fusion technology and Gallery Go.

Nokia 1.3 runs on Snapdragon 215 under the hood backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The device runs on Android 10 (Go edition) and will also get Android 11 (Go edition), guaranteed by the company. Nokia 1.3 starts at 95 euros (around Rs 7,600).

Nokia 5310

Reviving another Nokia bestseller from the last decade, HMD Global released Nokia 5310 with the nostalgia by Nokia 5310 Xpressmusic. Nokia 5310 has an MP3 player, FM radio, dual front-facing speakers and it offers a 30-day standby battery.

It’s a feature phone offering 20 hours of talktime with a 2.4-inch display on top featuring a VGA camera with a flash on the back. The device is backed by a 1,200mAh battery with dedicated music keys.

Nokia 5310 will be available in two colour options: black with red and white with red. Nokia 5320 is said to go on sale from March 2020, prices start at 39 euros (around Rs 3,100).
