As the New Year starts, Income Tax Department has released their 2020 calendar for all taxpayers.
This calendar details all the crucial dates, which every taxpayer should note down, and shouldn’t miss.
Here are the details about the new calendar.
File It Yourself Calendar From Income Tax Department
Income Tax Department has designed the calendar as ‘File It Yourself’ Calendar, which will act as a handy reminder for all taxpayers.
While launching this income tax calendar, Income Tax Dept said, “Here is a calendar with important dates for you so that you don’t have to miss a thing. We hope that this will make your filing journey easier,”
Crucial Deadlines You Shouldn’t Miss
January
In the month of January, the taxpayers should keep in mind 15th for quarterly statement of TCS deposited for quarter ending on December 31st, 2019.
Other prominent dates are January 30th and 31st for quarterly TDS and TCS certificates.
February
February 15th for quarterly TDS certificate
March
In March, 15h is the most important date for filing 4th installment of advance tax for FY 20-21
March 31st is the last date for filing belated and/or revised returns for AY 2019-20
May
In May, taxpayers should remember 15th and 31st for TCS and TDS quarterly statements
June
June 15th for quaterly TDS and TCS certificates
July
July 24th is the Income Tax day.
15th, 30th and 31st July for TDS and TCS certificates.
And also July 31st for filing Income Tax Returns for AY 2020-21 for all taxpayers, except few exceptions.
August
August 15th for quarterly TDS and TCS certificates
September
September 15th for advanced tax for AY 2020-21 (2nd installment)
October
October 15th, 30th and 31st for TDS and TCS certificates
November
November 15th for TDS, TCS certificates, and November 30th for audit report and ITR filing for those having international transactions
December
December 15th for advance tax for AY 2020-21 (the third installment)
