Cow Dung, Urine Startups Will Get 60% Funding From Govt

As per the reports coming in from Ahmedabad,  the startups based on cow by-products like dairy products, dung and urine could get up to 60% of their investment from government as funding. 

Encourage Youths for Cow Based Entrepreneurship

The Chairman of Kamdhenu Ayog Vallabh Kathiria said that “We will encourage youths to go for cow-based entrepreneurship and earn not only for products like milk and ghee, but also by-products like urine and dung that can be used for medicinal and agriculture purposes,”. 

According to TOI, Kathiria has been meeting with students and scholastic experts of the Entrepreneur Development Institute of India situated in Gandhinagar to strategise to encourage youth to join cow-based entrepreneurship.    

Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog was approved by Prime Minister Modi in Feb,2019 for conservation, protection and development of cows and their progeny. It is proposed to increase the growth of the livestock sector in India with an initial corpus of 500 crore.

With commercialization of cow dung and urine will also encourage people to not discard cows which has stopped milk production.

He also said to encourage research on the medicinal value of cow by-products. He said that the board will provide a platform for scholars and researchers to project their research on these by-products and will also hold training programmes and skill development camps for people already running Gaughalas.

Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog and Ministry of AYUSH Joint Ventre

As per the report coming in New Delhi, Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog and  Ministry of AYUSH are working together to produce a drug-using cow urine and dung named Panchgavya. It is focused to help in the development of highly intelligent children.  

According to the commission, If the drug is consumed regularly by pregnant women then they might be able to give birth to smart, highly intellectual children. As informed by Kathiria, Shastra and Ayurvedas also talk about Panchgavya drug which contains five cow products – cow urine, dung, milk, curd and ghee.

He also informed that Ayush Ministry and recently formed Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying by Modi Government, will join hands with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in production and marketing of Panchgavya medicine.

Kathiria said that they will appoint Vaidyas in villages to prescribe this drug to pregnant women once they are done with production of this drug in large scale.

Many steps are being taken for animal husbandry, protection and welfare, many changes are being done and with the help of latest technology, it is transforming the dairy industry like never before

The Chairman Kathiria also informed about their plans to promote a cow tourism circuit. Its route will pass by the area’s where indigenous cow breeds are reared. They have identified some states for this circuit like Haryana, Panjab, Gujrat, Rajsthan, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa.
