Xiaomi to Launch New TV Models on April 23
Xiaomi has announced its plans to launch the brand’s new TV products for users. Xiaomi has released a poster that confirmed the company’s future plans. The poster is for the event that will be conducted by Xiaomi on 23rd April, during which new products will be launched for Spring 2019. The company has focused on the back side of the TV, which goes mostly ignored and Xiaomi has announced that it is ready to surprise its users.
Google Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL to Launch on May 7
Google is planning to unveil its upcoming flagship smartphones, Google Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL on May 7, 2019. A teaser page on the Google Store also indicates some sort of a connection with the Avengers. There could be an announcement about a possible ‘Avengers’ Edition of Pixel 3 phones as well. The Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are supposed to be Google’s phones that fall in the ‘affordable’ segment, and there are rumors that they will come in multiple variants.
Indian Govt Orders Removal of TikTok From Apple and Android
The Government of India has finally passed its judgment and banned the popular app of video making and sharing – TikTok. Today, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has asked both Google and Apple to remove the TikTok app from their respective app stores. On April 4, Madras High Court had given out the order that TikTok needs to be banned and asked the Government to ban the app, and the latter followed through. Read all about the ban right here!
Vivo V17 Leaked With 20 MP Selfie Camera
Vivo is all set to launch its new smartphone device, Y17 in India at the end of this month. While not much has been revealed about this phone, fresh leaks have emerged that show a waterdrop notch. Also on the back panel, there is a multi-camera system with a fingerprint scanner. Also, the phone is supposed to have a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM, powered by Helio P35 SoC, and a 5000 mAh battery. The Y17 will also have a 20 MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi Suspends Android Pie Update for Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi S2
Xiaomi is clearly failing to follow on its word of presenting the Android 9.0 Pie update for its devices, viz., Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi S2. all these smartphones were launched with the Android 8.0 OS. However, there is a list which shows the status of the various OS upgrades that all the smartphones by Xiaomi are supposed to get. In this list, the above-mentioned smartphones have ‘Plan changes, suspension of recruitment’ written clearly in front of them. This clearly means that these phones will not be getting the Android 9.0 Pie update.
Xiaomi’s Mysterious Phone Could Have Snapdragon 730, and Pop-up Selfie Camera
Redmi fans have been waiting eagerly for the arrival of the smartphone powered by Snapdragon 855. The company has recently been teasing a smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. There are rumors which say that this camera might belong to the notorious smartphone with SD 855, however, new speculations are suggesting that the camera might be of an entirely different phone, powered by the new Snapdragon 730 chipset.
