The mid-range segment of the Indian smartphone market sells the most phones. Hence, all mobile manufacturers try to crack the mid-range market, and rake in as much as possible.

The recent entrant Coolpad Cool Play 6 though comes with an outstanding combination of a dual-camera setup at the rear, a premium metal build, some top of the line specs and a massive 4,000mAh battery.
Being smartly priced at Rs. 14,999, the device will fight it out with the other two premium mid-range devices available at the same price – Nokia 6 and LG Q6.

Coolpad Cool Play 6

The device sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display and is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM with 64GB of on-board storage. The device comes with a pair of 13 megapixel cameras at the back with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a dual tone LED flash. On the front, it’s an 8 megapixel shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports 4G VoLTE with two SIM cards and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box (Android 8.0 OTA update confirmed by December 2017). Plus, it packs in a massive 4000mAh battery, which offers a standby time of up to 300 hours.

Boasting a metal unibody, the smartphone comes equipped with a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. Nokia 6 will run an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and will come with 32GB of on-board storage (which can be further be expanded up to 128GB using a external memory card). The device has a 16 megapixel shooter at the back with an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and a 8 megapixel shooter on front. The device will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box (Android O update confirmed). Plus, it sports dual speakers with Dolby Atmos sound system support. The latest mid range device from LG packs in the 5.5 inch Full HD (1080p) Full Vision display. LG Q6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage (which can be further expanded up to 128GB with an external memory card). The device has a 13 megapixel shooter at the back with an LED flash and a 5 megapixel shooter at front. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It has a 3000 mAh battery under the hood and features an FM radio.
