BSNL Chaukka-444 Offer Launched; 4GB Per Day at Rs 444 For 90 Days!

State-run BSNL has once again proved that after Jio, if there is any one company which can open the floodgates of cheap GBs of data, then it is none other than BSNL themselves.

After the tremendous success of STV 333 or Triple ACE plan, BSNL has now launched STV- 444 plan, which has been code named as Chaukka-444.

Under this plan, prepaid users can get 4GB data per day, by paying Rs 444, whose validity shall be 90 days.

R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board said, “We are committed to provide affordable and efficient services to all segment of our mobile customers. We offer best prices to our customers considering present trend of Indian telecom industry,”

Hence, BSNL prepaid users will get 360 GB of data for 90 days, at a cap of 4GB per day, for Rs 444. This brings down the cost of per GB data to Rs 1.23.

Just for records, this is the highest per day data offer initiated by any telecom company in India, till date.

The only downside of this deal is that, this data shall be provided in 3G speed, something which users haven’t appreciated.

Here are some user comments received on this new BSNL Plan, as curated from various sources (links in the bottom)

BSNL Looking To Repeat Their Success?

In April this year, BSNL triggered a new wave of data competition, by launching STV-333 plan, along with Dil Khol Ke Bol (STV349) and Nehle per Dehla (STV395).

Earlier, BSNL had launched postpaid plans with 500% more data, compared to other telcos.

Under STV-333 plan, BSNL revised their earlier plan and made it 3GB data per day, which proved to be very popular among BSNL users.

Their 2GB per day plan, which was launched before 3G/day was used by a vast majority of users, who consumed 400 TB of data in one day.

Due to such innovative plans, BSNL was able to add almost 30 lakh new users, in the month of March this year.

No doubt 4GB per day data plan is inciting lots of curiosity among hardcore BSNL users, but concerns for speed remains, as evident from the comments.
