Recently, Zomato was in the news for its “Rest Points” wherein it provided shelter for its delivery partners as well as delivery partners of competitors and everyone in the food delivery ecosystem.

Zomato Jumps Into Home Cooked Food Market With 'Zomato Everyday' - Meals Starts At Rs 89 In This City!

Again Zomato is in the news regarding a service that they have launched, which goes by the name “Zomato Everyday”. Starting at ₹89, this service has been launched by the company in select areas.

The CEO and founder it their blog post revealed that “Zomato Everyday” will bring you closer to home by serving you meals that make you feel at home.”

He added that “Our food partners collaborate with home chefs, who design each recipe with love and care to serve you home-styled, wholesome food at the best prices within minutes. By using only the finest ingredients, the food not only tastes delicious, but every dish is of the highest quality”.

He added that “With fresh meals starting at only ₹89, our customers can eat healthier and better daily”.

The company had earlier announced that it is remodelling its ten-minute delivery pilot with home-style cooked meals offerings.

Zomato “Healthy”

A section by Zomato, Healthy offers a similar product but the food is made by commercial outlets/ cloud kitchens. It is still not clear how Zomato will maintain a quality check with home-cooked food. 

Healthy Zomato offers food ‘curated by nutritionists and it is prepared by restaurants. The pricing is also at a level similar to restaurant food. Healthy also offers macros of some of the popular dishes in order to attract fitness buffs.

Founded by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah in 2008, Zomato is an Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company which not only provides information, menus and user-reviews of restaurants but also provides food delivery options from partner restaurants in select cities.
