Xiaomi 360 Home Security Camera 2K

Recently, there has been an announcement by Xiaomi regarding its third home security camera for the Indian market. 

This model sits between the previous two offerings when it comes to the price range. It is placed between Home Security Camera 1080p 2i which is priced at Rs 2,999 and the Home Security Camera 2K Pro which costs Rs 3,799. 

Specifications, Features & Price

The Home Security camera comes with a 3-megapixel camera sensor with an f/1.6 aperture. 

Capable of recording FHD video at 1920 x 1080 pixels’ resolution as well as 2K videos at 2304 x 1296 pixels resolution, it supports 360-degree video recording and also offers features like 360-degree and 108-degree viewing angles with no blind spots.

For the enhanced clarity in underexposed and overexposed scenarios, wide dynamic range is supported in the 360 Home Security Camera 2K.

Not only does it help with the human tracking but also it comes with AI human detection for filtering false alarms. The camera also stands out in low light, where in captures coloured footage.

For the effective night vision, it activates the IR lights, which illuminates the surroundings.

This security cam can be used to monitor multiple devices, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. 

It also supports two-way video calling. Speaking of the storage, it supports up to 256 GB of microSD card. Speaking of the mounting and the installation options, with the screw-in base accessories, it can be mounted inverted from a ceiling or securely positioned on a wall which makes it quite flexible in order to suit various surveillance needs.

Listed for Rs 3,299 (~$40) in India, the Xiaomi 360 Home Security Camera 2K can be purchased on Mi.com as well as the offline stores.
