In a highly anticipated move, Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi 14, on February 25, just a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) kicks off in Barcelona. Among the highlights of the event is the expected release of the much-awaited Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Rumors Swirl Around Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Special Edition

While Xiaomi has remained tight-lipped about the specifics of the event, speculations abound regarding the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, particularly its Titanium special edition variant. Reports suggest that Xiaomi is set to introduce a Titanium special edition for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, following the footsteps of rivals like Apple and Samsung who have incorporated Titanium in their latest flagship models.

In China, Xiaomi has already offered a special edition of the Xiaomi 14 Pro featuring a Titanium frame with distinct color variations, albeit with similar features to the standard model. The global variant of the vanilla Xiaomi 14 has also surfaced on the EMVCo website, shedding light on some of its key specifications.

According to the latest leaks, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in three storage variants in China: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. Meanwhile, the global variant of the Xiaomi 14 is expected to ship with Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 and NFC support.

The global release of the Xiaomi 14 series marks a significant expansion for the Chinese tech giant, following the successful debut of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro handsets in China last October.

The Xiaomi 14 series boasts powerful specifications, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, HyperOS interface, LTPO OLED displays with up to 2K resolution and 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, and Leica-tuned triple rear camera setups. Both models feature up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

While the Xiaomi 14 Pro houses a 4,880mAh battery with 20W charging support and 50W wireless charging, the Xiaomi 14 packs a slightly smaller 4,610mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging.

With the global launch event just around the corner, tech enthusiasts and Xiaomi fans alike eagerly await the official unveiling of the Xiaomi 14 series, poised to set new benchmarks in the smartphone industry.
