Samsung has officially unveiled its 2024 flagship Galaxy S24 smartphone lineup comprised of the regular S24, S24 Plus and premium S24 Ultra models. The new devices tout exclusive Galaxy AI capabilities alongside the latest premium hardware upgrades to deliver enhanced productivity and experiences.
All three run Android 14-based One UI 6.1, flaunt dynamic AMOLED displays with adaptive 120Hz refresh rates and are powered by specialized versions of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform customized for optimal performance.
AI Assisted Productivity And Imaging
Key highlights include AI based real-time translation during calls and chats alongside automated note taking and text summarization features. The camera experience is augmented by AI enabled suggestions for optimal results. Object erasing, background changes and other intelligent content edits are also enabled.
Samsung emphasizes seamless interplay between custom silicon, premium OLED panels tuned with Vision Booster tech and extensive AI infusion to deliver next-generation flagship experiences beyond just specifications.
Flagship Build And Construction
The S24 Ultra has a 6.8″ QHD+ screen and adopts hybrid titanium metal frame construction for lightweight durability. A tweaked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC works alongside 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The quad camera setup includes a high resolution 200MP sensor alongside 12MP ultrawide and dual 10MP/50MP tele lenses.
The S24 Plus offers a 6.7” FHD+ display and S24 has 6.2″ FHD+ screen. Both sport aluminum frames and pack 8GB/12GB RAM options coupled with Snapdragon or Exynos chips depending on region. Prices start from $799 with sales from January 31st.
