Vivo Launches Its Cheapest 5G Phone At Rs 12,999: Vivo T2x 5G Has 50 MP Camera, Android 13 & More!

On Friday, Vivo announced that its most affordable 5G smartphone from its stable, T2x 5G smartphone is available for sale.

Earlier, Vivo unveiled the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G smartphones in India On April 11, 2023.

As we know, the T2 which is priced at Rs 18,999 (~$231), has been available for purchase since April 18. 

Vivo T2x 5G Specifications

When it comes to this coming release from the Vivo T2x 5G, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and it comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display. 

Further, the smartphone offers a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50 MP primary sensor that comes with an f/1.8 aperture and an LED flash. 

The smartphone features a 8 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It is offered with a large 5,000 mAh battery.

 This new launch will come with Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, out of the box.

It is noteworthy here that the T2x has arrived as Vivo’s most affordable 5G-enabled smartphone.

The Vivo T2x 5G is offered in 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8GB RAM variants in India.

Further, these models are priced at Rs 12,999 (~$158), Rs 13,999 (~$170), and Rs 15,999 (~$195), respectively. 

Notably, all three models have 128 GB of internal storage.

The Vivo T2x 5G houses a 6.58-inch IPS LCD FHD+ panel with a teardrop notch. 

The smartphone is powered by Android 13 OS with the FunTouch OS 13 on top.

When it comes to security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Besides this the Dimensity 6020 chipset is present under the hood. 

The device houses up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 3 GB of extended RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. 

The other features include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo T2x 5G Pricing And Availability

When it comes to pricing, the Vivo T2x 5G is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs 13,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. 

Vivo is offering this smartphone with three color options  including Aurora Gold, Marine Blue and Glimmer Black.

If you are planning to purchase this smartphone, Vivo claims that this phone is exclusively available on the company’s e-store or on Flipkart, starting Friday, April 21, 2023.

Those who are interested in purchasing this device, it will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Vivo India’s online store. 

Banks are offering a Rs 1000 discount to the customers which can be availed using HDFC and ICICI bank cards while purchasing the smartphone through Flipkart. 

So, with this offer, the T2x can be bought for as low as Rs 11,999 (~$146).
