Concept photos of the Vande Bharat sleeper train have been released.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared these images, saying they will be launched early next year.

Equipped with world-class features, the Vande Bharat Express promises a comfortable journey to passengers, the government said.
What do the images show?
The images show wider and comfortable berths, brighter interior and a state-of-the-art design.
It is expected to offer better comfort and class to the passengers.
Also to be featured are upgraded and spacious toilets and a dedicated charging port for each passenger.
For disabled passengers, ramps and wheelchairs may also be there.
How many coaches will these trains have?
These coaches will be manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory(ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).
The ICF is working on a 16-coach initial design.
The fully AC train is expected to have 11 three-tier coaches, four two-tier coaches, and one first-class coach.
Prominent features
“The sleeper version is also being designed to run at a speed of 160 km per hour and will have a dedicated pantry in each coach,” News 18 reported.
“The state of art features of the Vande Bharat trains will be there in the sleeper version also.
The new trains will have on-board infotainment, a public announcement system and a facility for passengers to speak to the loco pilot in case of emergency,” officials said.
Rollout
It is to be rolled out by February 2024.
However, an official said they are expecting it to be rolled out around the New Year.
The trial will take place in December 2023.
