Beyond infrastructure, the airport is introducing free buggy services for senior citizens and pregnant women, childcare rooms, medical facilities, and modern lounges to improve comfort.
Commitment to Sustainability and Digitalization
Chennai Airport is fully powered by green energy and houses a 1.5 MW solar power plant, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the implementation of Digi Yatra and the Trusted Traveler Program E-gates ensures a seamless, end-to-end digital travel experience.
